April 2015 Update
March was an expensive month. I, my wife, and our daughter all have birthdays in March, so as you can imagine, there were lots of gifts being bought, as well as celebratory meals out, which were very nice, but inevitably added up. My wife loved her surprise present, which was lucky, as I’d spent a fair amount of time secretly saving up for it! We’re now behind again on the Nursery fees, but only by around £50, so that is not too bad. Luckily, they are very understanding there, and are happy to keep a bit of an account running for us so we can pay over a slightly longer period of time if we need to.
Let’s get down to the figures. At the end of March, my debt stood at £14,991.98. After my April payments, my total debt will be £14,761.88. That means I’ve paid off a total of £230.10. Not a bad chunk, and if all goes well, I should be able to make it under £14,500 next month. A hard slog, but I’ll keep plodding on.
April has a few occasions in it. A lot of birthdays amongst the in laws, as well as our wedding anniversary, five years; where have they gone? I would describe them as a roller-coaster of fun and hilarity. My wife might describe them in different terms… Anyway, enough of, my babbling – here’s hoping Spring finds you well and that your own debt destruction is going well.
