December 2014 Update

What can I say about November? A massive month. Not only did I get to see the legend that is Cat Stevens / Yusuf Islam performing live. Another ambition ticked off the list. He was immense as you can imagine. It was dampened slightly by some chap stood behind me insisting on joining in. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m all for audience participation, but I hadn’t travelled to London to hear his slightly pitch version of Moonshadow. Anyway, in other news, I have finished the first draft of my dissertation, so now I only have proof reading and tidying up left with that – it is due in on the 5th December, so not long now!

Let’s get down to the figures. At the end of November, my debt stood at £15,602.81. After my December payments, my total debt will be £15,231.74. That means that I have reduced my debt by a further £371.07. A nice big chunk, and it seems that I can expect to be entering 2015 with just under £15,000 to go.

December is expensive for everyone. Luckily, I’ve learned from past mistakes and now I save for it throughout the year, meaning that I can afford the presents. It’s also my daughter’s first Christmas, so that is going to be pretty awesome. I hope those of you in a similar position are also making progress in your debt destruction.

Have a merry Christmas everyone…
