February 2014 Update
Thank goodness January is over. Such a long month that drags on for ages and makes everyone feel miserable after an initially new year related bout of excitement. Or maybe that just me? Anyway, I hope that you are all making inroads in with your various goals – I am proud to report a 5 lb loss, so pounds being lost in more than one way!
Let’s get down to the figures. At the end of January, my debt stood at £19,308.72. After my February payments, my total debt will be £19,083.25. That means that I have reduced my debt by a further £225.47. Not far from the £19,000 barrier now!
February promises to be a relatively non-expensive month. The wife and I are staying at a hotel for an evening, our usual anniversary tradition, but a little earlier this year because of the baby being on the way. We have been saving for this all year (like we always do) so no concerns on that front. Apart from that, it should be a reasonably low key month.
