November 2015 Update
October is now complete, and I am concerned about the festive season fast approaching at quite a speed, headed by a large fellow, with an impressive beard and an inclination for breaking and entering, and leaving gifts in the homes of his victims. I managed to get away with not spending too much this month, although I did have a wedding to attend right at the end of the month, a real test for the old bank balance.
Let’s get down to the figures. At the end of October, my debt stood at £12,085. After my November payments, my total debt will be £11,827.06. That’s a very satisfying £257.94 off the debt, and this is excellent progress. All being well, I should be able to pay off my Barclaycard and close it off by the end of 2015. That would leave just a store card, another credit card, my loan, my overdraft, and my student loan. I know this sounds like a lot left to do, but given where I’ve come from, things are really starting to fall into place.
November should be straightforward. There is a family birthday to celebrate, but after this, there is not much on the cards that will cost money. I’m sure I say this every month…
